The fascination for flying was there as a child. During my first paragliding flight this was multiplied many times over and I quickly recognised the potential of the paraglider in mountain sports.
I fly for the adventure. Before a take-off you never know exactly what the day or the flight will bring and that is what appeals to me.
My top flying area is the Alps, centred in the Berner Oberland, which is also home. But there are still so many beautiful placed to discover.
In the meantime I live from mountaineering, so it is clear where else you can find me. Whether it’s mountain climbing, rock climbing, trail running or bouldering, something always works. I’m also interested in photography and film.

The mountains are the hardest but also the fairest teacher there is. If you always follow their rules, they will give you the most wonderful moments.
It was supposed to be a high-alpine summiting of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. It turned out to be a speed record – thanks to the paraglider.
